“Labor”: Violating Workers Will Be Barred from Returning to Jordan for 5 Years After Deportation Decision

Al-Taj News – Ministry of Labor spokesperson Mohammad Al-Zyoud confirmed on Monday that any non-Jordanian worker found in violation after September 30 will be deported and barred from returning to Jordan for 5 years from the date of the deportation decision.

Al-Zyoud called for expediting the regularization of the status of violating non-Jordanian workers before the deadline of September 30, 2026, warning that an electronic deportation flag will be placed against violators starting the following day.

He explained to Al-Mamlaka that an employer who employs violating non-Jordanian workers may face a fine of no less than 800 dinars for each worker, stressing that the aim of these measures is to regulate the labor market.
